Formerly Sioux City -- On Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, , father of three, passed away at the age of 84.

Robert was born on June 7, 1936, in East Moline, Ill., to Louis and Gilberta Barron. Bob studied at Purdue University and enlisted in the Army in 1959. He met the love of his life in Christina May Brace on the eastern shore of Maryland, was married on March 1st, 1967 and had three children, Mona, Robert Jr, and MacGregor.

Bob was a loving husband, wonderful father, an avid golfer, sailor, and fisherman. He was honored to be inducted into the Robert E. Fitch High School Hall of Fame in Mystic, Conn. He was a respected businessman well practiced in integrity and character. He built his own business Bear Graphics Inc. in Sioux City which still operates today, and served as president of the Sioux City Country Club. He retired and moved to Florida to spend his days in the sunshine and near the water. He never cheated in cards and always had a joke or story for his grandchildren. His laughter and smile will be fondly remembered by his surviving family.

He is survived by his sister Renee, his daughter Mona, and his two sons Rob and MacGregor.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother Gilberta (Bea), his father Louis (Lou) and his brothers Richard and Chuck. His wife and love of his life Christina passed in the months since.
