SAMUEL G. HADDOCK

Samuel G. Haddock, 96, Smithland, died Friday at a Sioux City hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Hornick Methodist Church. The Rev Leonard Fugate will officiate, and burial will be in Willow Township Cemetery near Holly Springs under direction of the Willman Funeral Home of Rodney, Iowa.

Mr. Haddock was born April 7, 1870, in Dallas County, Iowa.

He farmed in the Smithland area for many years before retiring from active farming a few years ago. His wife preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, George of Smithland, and S. R. (Bert) Haddock of Anthon; a daughter, Miss Esther Haddock of Smithland; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
