Funeral services for Lafayette Franklin Dowling, 68, who died Saturday at a Sioux City hospital, will be at Hornick, Ia. Tuesday. Rev. W. F. Lane, Hornick, will be conduct, services at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Burial will be in Holly Springs cemetery under direction of the Hilts funeral home of Sloan.

Mr. Dowling had resided in the Hornick area since 1912.

Survivors include the widow Mary of Hornick; seven daughters, Mrs. Mildred Sherman of Hornick, Mrs. Hazel Kersey, Mrs. Helen Howe and Mrs. Maxine Baxley, all of Sioux City; Mrs. Edith Rogers of South Sioux City, Mrs. Bernice Reynolds of Bremerton, Wash., and Mrs. Dolores Nordstrom of Sloan; four sons, Donald of Los Angeles, Clifford of Portland, Ore, and Lafayette and Leonard, both of Hornick; a sister, Mrs. Emma McClue of Glidden, la., and three brothers, Ernest of Lanesboro, la., Delmar of Mitchell S. D and Theodore of Draper, S. D.
