26 May 1949Rites Scheduled for Mrs. Katherine Dawdy
Hornick, la. Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine L. Dawdy, 66, who died Tuesday at her farm home northeast of here after a long illness, will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Christian church in Holly Springs, la. Burial will be in the Holly Springs cemetery. A Rodney, Ia. funeral home will be in charge of arrangements.
She was born July 27, 1882, on a farm in this locality. She was married February 6, 1907, in Anthon, la., to Claud M. Dawdy.
Survivors include a son, Leonard of Hornick; a brother, James Callaghan of Anthon: and two grandchildren.
