MRS. J. T. DAVIS

Mrs. J. T. (Tom) Davis, 84, longtime Hornick resident, died Monday at an Onawa, Iowa, nursing home following a long illness.

Mrs. Davis was born at Omaha in 1883. She moved to Hornick as a child. The former Lena Thompson, she was married to Mr. Davis at Emerson in 1910. They farmed in the Hornick area for over 50 years. Mr. Davis died in Sioux City in 1962. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Hornick Methodist Church and active in church organizations.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Johanna Prudom of Puyallup, Wash., three nephews and one niece. The body was taken to the Nelson-Berger Funeral Home in Morningside.
