MRS. FRANCES BOYD

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist church at Hornick for Mrs. Frances Boyd, 85, who died Monday at a Le Mars, Ia., hospital after an illness of six weeks. Rev. K. K. Hauser will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs cemetery with the Wood funeral home of Whiting in charge.

Mrs. Boyd was born February 8, 1876 in Woodbury county. She was married to Charles Wood of Hornick, September 9, 1896. He died in 1937. For the last 20 years Mrs. Boyd made her home with a son at Maurice, Ia.

Survivors include four sons, Homer of Sioux City, Jesse of Arlington, Tex. Charles of Maurice, and J. Robert of Le Mars: eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
