John A. Schultz

John A. "Jack" Schultz, 56, of Sioux City died unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. A . T . Washington officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Schultz was born Oct. 19, 1940, in Sioux City.

He was a roofer for many years, working for several companies, and was also self-employed a few years. The last four years, he worked at Meyer Pallet in South Sioux City.

Survivors include his mother, Jean of Sioux City; three daughters, Terri Schultz-Davis, Melissa Schultz and Jackie VanWinkel, all of Sioux City; three brothers, Jerry, David and Tim, all of Sioux City: a sister, Lisa Schultz-Smith of South Sioux City; two grandchildren, Kelsey and Gracie; and a special friend, Maggie VanWinkel of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his father, John.

Pallbearers will be Dick and Bob Mathison, Neal Edwards, Jeff-Schultz, Mike Stanton and Bill Rosemeyer.
