LEANDER L. LEWIS

Leander L. Lewis, 80, a former Sioux Cityan, died Sunday night in a Cherokee, la., hospital following a long illness. He left here about 25 years ago. Mr. Lewis was born in Maine, May 23, 1865. Before becoming ill he was employed by the Chicago and North, Western railroad.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Madge Irwin of Omaha and four grandchildren.

The Larkin funeral home is directing arrangements.

Funeral services for Leander L. Lewis, 80, a former Sioux Cityan who died Sunday night at a Cherokee, Ia., hospital after a long illness, will be at 4 p. m. Thursday at Graceland Park cemetery. Rev. W. A. Voss will officiate. The Larkin funeral home is directing arrangements.
