Richard Dean Ingram, 84, of Sioux City, formerly of Whiting, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, at a local Hospital.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Waterbury Funeral Services of Sergeant Bluff.
Richard was born Jan. 9, 1936, in Onawa, Iowa, the son of Elmer and Grace (Cummins) Ingram. He grew up in Onawa, where he attended school and graduated.
Richard married Charmaine Mortenson on June 11, 1960. Together they made their home in Kansas for a few years before moving to Whiting in 1962.
They moved to Sioux City in 2010. Richard worked as a Road Grader Operator for over 36 years, before retiring.
Richard enjoyed watching sports, particularly the Steelers and Hawkeyes. He loved playing cards at his niece, Sherry Yankey's house, and spending time with his dogs. He collected marbles, rocks, bullet pencils, and he enjoyed traveling with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, Charmaine Ingram of Sioux City; three children, Marty Ingram, Darcie (Billy) Fuller and Neil (Tami) Ingram, all of Sioux City; five grandchildren' and numerous great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Keegon Ingram; two sisters, Shirley and Agnes; and a brother, Kenneth.
