Mrs. Beulah Z. Hall, 77, of rural Salix, Iowa, died Wednesday night at an Onawa Hospital following a brief illness.

Mrs. Hall, the former Beulah Bail, was born Oct. 17, 1900, at Percival, Iowa. She had lived in Sioux City most of her life, and since 1969 had lived at Salix. She had been employed as a telephone operator at the Sioux City Police Department.

She was a member of the Salix Community United Methodist Church and was past president of Aerie 77, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, of Sioux City.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Keith (Nettie) Saunders of Salix, and Mrs. Albert (Shirley) Hansen of Yelm, Wash.; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Schrooten of Sioux City, Mrs. Clyde (Olive) Harvey of Millbrae, Calif., and Mrs. Donald (Trix) Abrams in California; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. The Rev. Gregory Caldwell of the Salix Community United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Sloan, Iowa, Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in Mrs. Hall’s name with Aerie 77 Eagles Auxiliary.
