SIOUX CITY - John "Wake" Wakefield, 46, of Sioux City, formerly of Chicago, Ill., died Tuesday, July 14, 2009, from injuries suffered in an accident.
Memorial services will be 6:30 p.m. today at Heartland Community Baptist Church, 3601 Country Club Blvd., in Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.
John was a loving man, that would do anything for anyone. A friend of many people and loved by many people.
He is survived by his mother, Barbra J. Wakefield; his father, Harold A. Wakefield; two brothers, Kepesh T. Heru and Robert M. Wakefield; a sister, Helen E. Wakefield; two nieces; two nephews; his girlfriend, Traci Marsh; three step-children, Hope, Mitchell and Danielle Marsh; and two grandchildren.
