SIOUX CITY - Robert Charles "Bob" Ohlfest, 85, of Sioux City, formerly of Mount Vernon, Iowa, died Sunday, June - 28, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel.

Bob is survived by his sons, Douglas (Carolyn) of Sioux City, Thomas (Monna) of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Michael (Ok) of Chantilly, Va.; a daughter-in-law, Martha Ohlfest; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family asks that memorials be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon.
