SIOUX CITY - Scott Allen Evans Sweat, 42, of Sioux City passed away Monday, April 27, 2009, at his residence.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Abiding by his wishes, the body will be cremated following the service. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., at the funeral home.

Scott was born Dec. 11, 1966, in Sioux City, to Calvin Sweat and Darlyne Arrow. He attended North High School. He was a cook for restaurants in both Sioux City and Sioux Falls, S.D.

He enjoyed camping, fishing and softball.

He is survived by his mother, Darlyne Arrow of Sioux City; his father, Calvin Sweat of Sioux City; a brother, Ronald Wacheldorf; two sisters, Cindy and Chandalynn Wacheldorf; several aunts and uncles; and special friends, Shirley, Ruth, Ronda, Jennifer and all the friends of the Red Room.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
