SIOUX CITY -- Frank Oscar Lundine Jr., 82, of Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Sioux City, died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Arkansas Hospice surrounded by his family.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. James United Methodist Church in Little Rock, with the Rev. Greg Schick officiating. Burial will be in Urbana Cemetery, Urbana, Ark. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at his daughter's home in Little Rock. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock. Frank was born Jan. 26, 1927, in Sioux City. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He and his wife, Jerene, moved to Houston, Texas in 1952, where he eventually retired from Rhom and Haas in 1992. They soon moved to Little Rock to be closer to their daughter and her family. In 1998, he tired of retirement and began work at Arkansas Managed Care Organization (AMCO) until his cancer treatment began last summer.

He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Janell and Clark Mason; grandsons, Taylor DeCastro, Riley Mason and Reid Mason, all of Little Rock; a sister and brother-in-law, Martell and Roger Triggs of Vacaville, Calif.; and many dear friends and co-workers.

He was preceded in death by Jerene Peterson Lundine, his wife of more than 50 years.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Arkansas Hospice, 5600 West 12th Street, Little Rock Ark. 72204.
