SIOUX CITY -- Roger G. Crosgrove, 64, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at his residence.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church, 4420 Cheyenne Blvd. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation with the family will be 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Roger was born Nov. 10, 1944, in Castana, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Darlene (Barbsy) Crosgrove. He attended school in Castana and later in Sioux City.

On Jan. 6, 1955, he was united in marriage to Beverly Jurgensen. She passed away in 1981. He worked on the farm for a period of time and later at Sioux Tools. He then worked for Jarco Builders until August 2003, when his health failed.

On April 10, 1983, he was married to Dianna Ahrnkiel in Le Mars, Iowa.

He enjoyed watching wrestling and boxing and spending time with his many grand and great-grandchildren. He attended First Assembly of God Church and was a member of the Eagles in Seattle, Wash.

He is survived by his wife, Dianna; two sons, Lance (Mary) and Nathan; seven daughters, Robin (Jim) Schmidt, Dawn (Brad) Evers, Heidi Crosgrove, Heather Hendrix, Kelly Daugherty (special friend, Tim Fowler), SueAnn (Delana) Jackson and Katrina (Tyrone) Jackson; 32 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gary, Jim and Mervin; and three sisters, Debra Burke, Marlene Heuetz and Denise Stroman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Beverly.
