JOHN THOMAS TROBAUGH

John Thomas Trobaugh, 72, South Sioux City, died Sunday morning at a hospital after two days of illness.

Mr. Trobaugh was born March 18, 1883, in Tennessee. As a child he moved with his parents to Sergeant Bluff. He farmed near there and rural Sioux City most of his life. For five years he was employed by the Sioux City Battery Co. He had retired five years ago.

Survivors are the widow, Odessa; three daughters, Mrs. Ida Arnett of Sioux City; Mrs. Ethel Hatcher of Colton, Cal.; and Mrs. Marie Anderson of Le Mars; three sons, Robert and Jack both of Sioux City; and John, Jr., of LeMars; four sisters, Mrs. Hattie Dahlan of Danbury, Wis.; Mrs. Sara Crittenden of Stillwater, Minn.; Mrs. Agnes Arnett of Bronson and Mrs. Ellen Selby of Sioux City; three brothers, Fred of St. Paul; Roy of Sioux City and Jess of Britton, S. D.; 19 grandchild, and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services for John Thomas Trobaugh, 72, South Sioux City, who died Sunday morning at a hospital after two days of illness, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Nanning-O-Toole funeral home. Rev. Lawrence Carlton, pastor of Riverside Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland park cemetery.
