"INDIAN HILLS" OWNER TO BE BURIED TODAY

Funeral services for A. M. Turman, pioneer resident of Smithland, Ia., and owner of "Indian Hills," a pleasure resort at that place, will be held at 2 o'clock today in the Methodist church at Smithland. Mr. Turman died Thursday after a sudden attack of paralysis. He was 87 years old.

Mr. Turman lived in Smithland or what is now the site of the town for the last 71 years. He never married, having made his home with a brother and sister, Will Turman and Mrs. Shattuck, who, together with several nieces and nephews, survive him.

Funeral services will be in charge of the Odd Fellows lodge, of which the deceased was a member. Rev. A. M. Pruitt, of Ames, Ia., will officiate.
