MRS. ROBERT HAMMOND

Mrs. Robert Hammond, 43, was dead on arrival Sunday morning at a Sioux City hospital.

Death was caused by a blood clot in the lung, Dr. Thomas L. Coriden, Woodbury County medical examiner, saidafter an autopsy.

The former Betty Lou Hendricksen, Mrs. Hammond was born April 13, 1926, at Freemont, Neb. She moved to Los Angeles, Calif., in 1934 and lived there until 1949 when she moved to Omaha.

She married to Mr. Hammond April 8, 1950, at LeMars, Iowa, and the couple resided in Sioux City since that time. Mr. Hammonf is associated with the B&H Colling & Heating Co. of Sioux City.

Mrs. Hammond was a member of Silver Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Leslie W. and Douglas R. both at home; two sisters, Mrs. June Wolsleger, both of Los Angeles; her father, Joe Hendricksen of Freemont; and her mother, Mrs. Ida Hendricksen of Sioux City.

The body was taken to the Berkemier Funeral Home.

MRS. ROBERT HAMMOND

Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Hammond, 43, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside United Methodist Church. The Rev. Franklin Schwarm will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of the Berkemier Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Robert Donaghu, Sam Harbeck, Mel Fetterman, Mike Garvin, Ben Hanson and Don Lewis.

Eastern Star services will be at 7:30 o'clock tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hammond was dead on arrival at a Sioux City hospital Sunday morning.
