EMIL B. KERN

A lifelong resident of Sioux City, Emil B. (Pete) Kern, 46, died Friday night in a hospital after a brief illness.

He was a member of the Lutheran church.

Surviving are the widow, Margaret; three daughters, Mrs. Oscar Peterson, Nona and Jo Ann Kern; two sons, Robert and Arthur; one grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Schillinger; Mrs. Carl Stoltze and Mrs. Herman Plahn; his mother, Mrs. Marie Kern and two brothers, John and Walter all of Sioux City.
The body is at Nelsson-Berger funeral home.

Funeral services for Emil B. (Pete) Kern, truck operator who died Friday night in a hospital after a brief illness will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Nelson-Berger funeral home. Rev. H. Kettler will officiate. Burial will be in Floyd cemetery.
