MOVILLE, Iowa -- Beverly Ann (Jahn) Fredrickson, 75, of Moville died Thursday, March 12, 2009, at home after a long battle with cancer.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church in Moville, with the Rev. Ed Frank officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Anthon, Iowa. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Armstrong Funeral Home in Anthon. Visitation will resume Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Beverly Ann (Jahn) Fredrickson was born July 19, 1933, at Anthon, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Florence (Peterson) Jahn. She graduated from Anthon High School with the class of 1953. She married Kenneth Fredrickson on Sept. 18, 1964 in Anthon. She went to nursing school in Dallas, Texas, and became a Licensed Practical Nurse shortly after high school. She liked to dance, read, do crossword puzzles and loved animals. Beverly often did baby-sitting.

Survivors are her husband of 44 years, Kenneth; a son, Deron of Moville; three brothers, Harold Jahn of Overland Park, Kan., Kenneth (Jo-Ann) Jahn of Moville, and James Jahn of Anthon; a sister, Barbara (Ralph) Frese of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and the Cancer Center.
