16 May 2008Robert J. Reiser, 82, of Omaha, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in Omaha following a brief illness.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City. Visitation with the family will be 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Roeder Mortuary in Omaha.
Mr. Reiser was the son of John and Ann Reiser. He was a veteran of World War II and survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. He was employed with Younkers for 45 years and retired to live in Omaha. He was employed by West Corporation of Omaha for 13 years.
He is survived by his children, Betty Donnelly of Virginia, Linda MacKlin of Sioux City, John of Germany and Paul and Mark, both of California; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois; and daughters, Dorothy, Teresa and Christina.
