SIOUX CITY -- Jack R. Vogt, 66, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Sioux City, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at Truman Medical Center.

Abiding by the families wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family graveside services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender, Neb.

Jack is survived by four children, Kim (Mark) Skibinski and Scott (Melinda), all of Sioux City, Tom (Tammy) of Independence, Mo., and Jack (Tami) of Jefferson, S.D.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his mother, Merne Wilcox; a sister, Shirley Svoboda; a brother, Rick Schumacher, all of Omaha; a stepmother, Ann Vogt of Kansas City; and an uncle, Tim (Ruth) Vogt of Overland Park, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Vogt; and stepfather, Melvin Wilcox.
