Nancy (Stewart) Richey, 69, formerly of Sioux City died Monday, April 21, 2008 in Yuma, Ariz.

A family memorial service will be held May 10 in Sioux City.

Nancy was born April 1, 1939, in Sioux City. She moved to Portland, Ore., in 1980 and retired to Yuma seven years ago.

Nancy worked for St. Vincent's Hospital in Sioux City as a nurse's aide, drove over-the-road truck with her husband and worked as a cashier for a truck stop in Oregon before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family and going to flea markets and watching the hummingbirds at her home in Arizona.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph of Yuma; her parents, Raymond and Barbara Stewart of Sioux City and Dorothy Roby of South Sioux City; a son, Stewart Bailey of Albuquerque, N.M. and his wife Renee and their two children, Kasey and Emily; four step-children, Gail Houfek and her husband Ray, Patty Schieffer and her husband Marlen, Ralph Jr. of Oregon, and Roger and his wife Eleda of Lafayette, La; two brothers, Rick Stewart and his wife Terry of Sioux City and Mike Stewart and his wife Juli of Florida; two sisters, Vickie Andersen of Houston and Linda Glorfield and her husband Steve of Sioux City; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a step-son, Robert Richey; her grandparents, Eugene and Lola Stewart and Charles and Bessie Lariviere; and several aunts and uncles.
