Judeline K. "Judie" Pospeshil, 53, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, in Sioux City.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Bruch officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Grimton Cemetery, near Orchard, Neb. Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, with a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Judie was born July 28, 1952, in Sioux City, the daughter of Bill and Myrna (Polly) Tuttle. She graduated from Riverside High School in 1970.

She married Jerry Pospeshil on April 16, 1971, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City. She stayed at home to raise their three children. She also assisted Jerry with their photography business. Later, she worked as a teacher assistant at Woodbury County Community Action Agency, as an instructional assistant with the Sioux City Community School District and as a preschool teacher at Kathy's Early Childhood Learning Center. Most recently, she completed her bachelor of science degree in elementary education at Morningside College and was an adjunct teacher at Western Iowa Tech Community College.

She enjoyed camping with her family, reading and spending time in the sun. She loved her husband, children and grandchild and will be missed by many.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Pospeshil of Sioux City; two sons, Jade and his wife, Shelly, and their son, Mason, of Johnston, Iowa, and Jeret of Rapid City, S.D.; a daughter, Jewell and her fiance, Todd Young, of Johnston, Iowa; her parents, Bill and Myrna Tuttle of Sioux City; her mother-in-law, Lil Pospeshil of Sioux City; and three sisters and their husbands, Vickie and Mark Anderson and their children of Yankton, S.D., Kathie and Timm Banks and their children of Westfield, Iowa, and Terrie and Tom West and their children of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Ethel Polly and Floyd and Rose Cadwell; and her father-in-law, Harold Pospeshil.
