Don Lewis Smith, 79, formally of Smithland Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Armour Care and Rehabilitation Center in Armour, South Dakota.

He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served his term overseas in Japan and the Philippines.

He leaves behind his wife of 43 year, Priscilla (Pat) Smith.
