O’Brien – In Sioux City, Iowa, Sunday, February 25, 1912, Mrs. John S. O’Brien, at her home, 310 Center Street, following an operation, aged 51 years. Mrs. O’Brien had been ill for a long time. She was born in Philadelphia and came to Sioux City at the age of 8 years and has since then made her home here continuously. Besides her husband and son, Roy, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. George M. Kellogg of Sioux City and Mrs. G. A. Young of Des Moines, a daughter, Mrs. Hagan of Seattle, Washington and a brother, Harry Jackson of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery.
