8 February 1912Mrs. O. H. Rye Dies in Husband’s Arms
Mrs. O. H. Rye, 418 Isabella Street, died in the arms of her husband yesterday afternoon, when she suffered an attack of heart trouble in her bed room and was being carried to a down stairs room by Mr. Rye. She was 40 years old.
Mrs. Rye had arose as usual yesterday, but complained of illness. Her moaning an hour afterward attracted the attention of her husband, who rushed to her assistance. She was found in a dying condition and it was while Mr. Rye attempted to carry her down stairs that the end came.
Her husband and nine children survive. The children are Grace, Raymond, Mabel, Verna, Ethel, Maylon, Max, Grover and Martin Rye.
The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
