Body of S. E. Jackson Found Dead In Bed

The late S. E. Jackson, whose dead body was found in bed in a room at the Chicago house Saturday evening, was positively identified by relatives, of Yankton, South Dakota yesterday and was taken to that place today. The funeral services were held there, today under the direction of the Elks of Yankton. On account of the suddenness of his death and the lack of information concerning the cause, Coroner J. E. Garver held an autopsy. It was found that he died of sarcoma of the left kidney.

Mr. Jackson was a traveling salesman for the Westheimer wholesale Liquor Company of St. Joseph, Missouri. He had been a frequent lodger at the Chicago house during the last two years, making his Sunday layovers at that hotel. He came here last Friday afternoon and after retiring Friday night he was not seen until his body was found by a chambermaid.
