Susan M. "Sue" Tott, 69, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, at a local hospital.

Visitation with the family will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City. No service will be held.

Susan was born on Oct. 12, 1949, in Sioux City, the daughter of Phillip and Marcella (Hoesing) Vandenberg. She graduated from Sacred Heart School in Emerson, Neb., lived in Hubbard, Dakota City, and South Sioux City before moving to Sioux City. She worked in housekeeping, and worked at Hy-Vee in Sioux City for 15 years, retiring in 2016.

Susan enjoyed watching NASCAR with her son, Mike, and going to rummage sales.

Survivors include her children, Amy (Kelly) Blume of Spencer, Iowa, Michelle Vandenberg of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, and Mike Vandenberg of Sioux City; grandchildren, Samantha, Megan, and Taylor Blume, and Alyssa Vandenberg; sisters, Annette Hoefling of Sioux City, and Jeanne (Tom) Vipond of Dakota City; sister-in-law, Annette Vandenberg of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Marcella Vandenberg; two brothers, Raymond and Richard Vandenberg; a sister-in-law, Judy Vandenberg; and brother-in-law, Darold Hoefling.
