Abelino G. Ramos, 64, of Sioux City, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at his residence.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Cathedral of the Epiphany. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7:30 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Abelino G. Ramos was born on Dec. 6, 1953, in Purisima del Rincon GTO Mexico. Abelino lived in Oxnard, Calif. from 1979 to 1994, when he moved to Sioux City, where he was a resident until his death. Abelino was employed with Tyson for 24 years.
He was a member of Cathedral Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
Abelino is survived by the love of his life, Maria; son, Abel Ramos; daughters, Maria Ramos, and Socorro Ramos; grandsons, Jesus, Adrian, Angel, and Ethan; granddaughters, Elizabeth, Giselle, Leila, and Fatima; two brothers; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
Abelino was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jesus Ramos.
