Matthew Earl Rausch, 31, of Sioux City, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2018.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Trimble United Methodist Church in Sioux City, 1424 27th Street. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Matt was born on Monday, July 6, 1987, in Sioux City, to Robert and Suzanne Ewers. He grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City Schools. He worked at Famous Dave's and Rocket Auto Wash for many years.

He enjoyed fishing with his brothers and dad as well as bonfires with family and friends. He loved being with his boys. Matt loved the Green Bay Packers.

Matt is survived by his parents, Robert and Suzanne of Sioux City; brothers, Eddie (Cassidy) and Robert Rausch and one sister, Kimberly Rausch, all of Sioux City; his significant other, Brittany Powell; his three sons, Gary Anderson, Christian Powell and Lucas Rausch; his maternal grandmother, Wilma Brewer; and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Brewer; paternal grandparents, Robert and Marjorie Ewers; and his aunt, Carol Lee.
