Bernice B. Clifton, 84, of Sioux City, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at Bickford Cottage in Sioux City.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Bernice was born in Sioux City on June 8, 1934. She married Duane H. Clifton on Nov. 17, 1950.
She was first employed at Kresge Department Store. She then became a full-time farm wife and mother. She returned to the work force in 1979 at IPS in Sioux City, and retired in 1990.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia "Pat" Siebens and Christine Weis; and granddaughter, Natalie Siebens. She is also survived by a sister, Georgianna of Omaha, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Tom, Fred and Kenny Sylvester; and sisters, Eva, Mary and Ruth.
