Funeral services held Monday for Brady C. Clause

Funeral services for Brady C. Clause of Cedar Rapids were held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 10, 1966 at the McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville. The Reverend Donald L. Carver of the Federated Church in Moville and burial was made in the Arlington Cemetery at Moville.

Mrs. Roger Schnaible, as organist, played favorite organ selections.

Pallbearers were Dick Clause of Norfolk, Nebr., Mark Clause, Elgert Arnett and Thomas Thompson of Sioux City, Robert Boggs of Salix and Maynard Ahlquist of Hornick.

Mr. Clause, 57, who formerly was a resident of Moville and Sioux City, died Thursday at University Hospital at Iowa City after a long illness. He had been in ill health since suffering a fractured spine in a fall about 4 years ago.

Mr. Clause was born Feb. 12, 1909, at Louisville, Ohio, the son of Clarence D. Clause and Margaret Zimmerman Clause. He married Pearl Irene Towers of Moville in 1932 at Moville. She died in 1944.

He was employed as a roofing contractor at Cedar Rapids for the last 18 years. Previously, he was employed as a truck operation and maintenance worker by the Woodbury County road maintenance department.

Survivors include two sons, Marvin of Anthon and Raymond of Moville; a daughter, Mrs. A.J. Harrison of Connersville, Ind., his father, Clarence D. of Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Boggs of Bronson; three brothers, Vernon and Bernard both of Concord, Calif., and Floyd of Sioux City; and six grandchildren.
