11 January 1926Death Claims Resident Here For 36 Years
Mrs. Housine Boe, who had lived in Sioux City for the past 36 years, died at the home of her son, John Boe, 2117 St. Mary’s Street, Sunday, after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Boe was born in Denmark in 1849. She settled in Sioux City on coming to the United States with her husband in 1889.
Besides the son, John, Mrs. Boe is survived by a son, Axel Boe of Sioux City, and a sister, Mrs. C. Schmidt of Sioux City.
The body is at the Nelson-Berger undertaking establishment pending funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Housine Boe, who had lived in Sioux City for 36 years prior to her death Sunday, will be conducted at 2:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Nelson-Berger Funeral Chapel and at 3 o’clock at the Danish Lutheran Church.
Interment will be at Floyd Cemetery.
