James Leo "Jim" Browning, 79, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, in Sioux City.
He grew up in Jefferson, S.D. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and enjoyed a two-year stay in Hawaii. He was employed with the Sioux City schools, where he made many friends.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and had various hobbies.
He is survived by a dear sister, Lou Ann Lund; his children, Mary Browning, Nancy (Tony) Harrel, Dan (Deb Hamar) Browning, and Sandy Redding; a grandson, Cameron Redding; and wife, Sharon.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Reba; and his parents.
In lieu of memorials, Jim would rather you went for a long ride on a nice day.
