Mrs. Clara Newman 1874 – 1939

Mrs. Clara Newman, 64, died Monday in her home, 509 Lafayette of heart disease.

The Westcott-Doughty-Chandler Funeral Home in charge.

Born July 10, 1874, in Dubuque, Iowa. Mrs. Newman had been a Sioux City resident the last 35 year.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Willard C. Cunningham will officiate, and burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her widower, Fred and two daughters, Mrs. Anna Primatis of Sioux City and Miss Mamie Newman of Glenwood, Iowa.
