Lloyd D. Smith, 61, 611 Jackson Street, died Tuesday in a hospital after a brief illness.
He was born June 30, 1885 in Hinckley, Illinois. He came here from Cherokee, Iowa and had been a Sioux City resident 15 years.
A sister, Mrs. Jewitt Fair of Sioux City survives.
