Mrs. Leila Berry 1880 - 1939

Mrs. Leila Berry, 59, 205 West First, resident here since last October, died in a local hospital Saturday. She was born November 28, 1880 in Harrison County, Iowa. Prior to her arrival here, Mrs. Berry had lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming 20 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Miss Fern Berry and Mrs. W.D. Presser, a grandson, two sisters, Mrs. Maud E. Johnston and Mrs. Rose Muir of Kansas City, Missouri and a brother, William Muir of Fayette, Missouri.

Larkin’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lula Berry

Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Berry, 59, of 2005 West First, who died Saturday, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Larkin’s Chapel with Rev. N.A. Price officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Berry was born November 28, 1880 in Harrison County, Iowa and lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming, 20 years before moving to Sioux City last October.

Surviving are a son, Fern, a daughter, Mrs. W.D. Presser, a grandson, two sisters, Mrs. Maud E. Johnston and Mrs. Rosa Muir of Kansas City, Missouri and a brother, William Muir of Fayette, Missouri.
