Willis Tiernan 1907 - 1939

Funeral services for Willis Tiernan, 31, of 312 West Fifteen, will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Perasso Brothers Chapel with Rev. Frank O. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. The body will be taken to the Tiernan home Wednesday night.

Mr. Tiernan died in a local hospital following a brief illness of pneumonia.

Mr. Tiernan, a mechanic, was born May 26, 1907, at Laurel, Nebraska.

Survivors include his widow, Vera, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Tiernan, a sister, Mrs. Frances Williams and two brothers, Harold and Richard, all of Sioux City.
