Pierce J Griggs 1875 - 1946

Pierce J. Griggs, 71, died Tuesday at his home, 4013 ½ Floyd Avenue, after a long illness. He was born March 15, 1875, in Minnesota. He had resided here more than 30 years.

Surviving are two sons, Truman of Sioux City and Gerald with the armed forces; and a daughter, Mrs. Viola Freidman, also of Sioux City.

The Anderson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
