Word has been received here of the death Thursday of Mrs. Marie Deharty Balcom, 49, resident of Sioux City and Smithland, Iowa, before her marriage, in a hospital at Geneva, New York, after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held Monday at Geneva.
Survivors include her widower, two sons, Dick and Donald, a daughter, Lucille; a brother, R.G. Deharty of Sioux City and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Palmer of Sioux City and Mrs. Elva Schnose of Alcester, South Dakota.
