E.H. Winn – 1860 - 1939

E.H. Winn, 78, of 2717 Home, died Thursday night in the home of a son, Ralph Winn, 313 Thirteenth, after a 10 days illness of pneumonia.

Christian Science services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 at Christy’s Funeral Home at 711 Myrtle. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Winn who had resided here the last 40 years, was born December 29, 1860 in Ohio. He was married to Rose Herr on February 1, 1923 at Omaha. She died last August. Mr. Winn was a member of the Christian Science Church.

Survivors include three sons, Harold, John and Ralph, all of Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. Ina Brink of Meckling, South Dakota; a sister, Mrs. Lenore Thorpe of Webster City, Iowa; a half-brother, W. G. Tallman of Evanston, Illinois and nine grandchildren.
