Sue A. Schultz, 70, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, at her residence.

A celebration of life service will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Sue was born on Sept. 20, 1947, in Lawton, Iowa, the daughter of Patrick and Florence (Abbot) Mongar. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1965.

Sue married Charles "Chuck" Schultz on Jan. 22, 1966 in Moville, Iowa. In 1968, the family made a short move to Colorado Springs, Colo., and then moved back to Lawton in 1969 until 1973. In 1973, Sue and Chuck made a final move to Sioux City. Sue worked at St. Luke's/Unity Point Health in the admitting department for 39 years, retiring in 2015.

Survivors include her husband, Chuck of Sioux City; daughter, Mickey and her children, Daniel and Jessica, all of Texas; and son, Scott and his wife, Brook, and their children, Emili and Cole and his significant other, Jordan, all of Sioux City.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ted; and grandson, Tony.
