Eunice Reoh, 81, of Akron, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. in Akron. The Rev. Susan Juilfs will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens at Le Mars, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will be 2 to 5 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 5 p.m., all at the church. Visitation will resume 9:30 a.m. until service time on Monday at the church. Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel-Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron. Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.rexwinkelfh.com.

Eunice Ann Hillrichs was born Dec. 10, 1936, in Akron, Iowa, the daughter of Ben and Anna (Tapper) Hillrichs. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Preston Township, rural Akron. She attended country school and later high school in Akron.

On Feb. 21, 1954, she married Darwyn Klemme and moved to a farm where she enjoyed helping with the field work and gardening. To this union, four children were born, Lynette, LaNay, Greg and Matthew.

On June 18, 2005, she married Rodney Reoh and continued to make her home in Akron.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron, where she served in the Women’s Circle. She was a lifelong resident of Plymouth County. Through the years, she enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and playing cards. She also enjoyed sewing, baking, and cooking. She and Rod enjoyed wintering in Arizona for several years. But, most of all, she loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney Reoh of Akron; her four children, Lynette (Howard) Altena of Doon, Iowa, LaNay (Steve) Welch of Akron, Greg (Paulette) Klemme of Akron, and Matthew (Lori) Klemme of Sergeant Bluff; a stepson, Lee Reoh of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a great-granddaughter, Anna Marie Schoen.

Memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron.
