Clement "Clem" Bisenius, 88, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at Sunrise Retirement in Sioux City. He had lived in Sioux City since October 2012.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Whittemore, Iowa, with the Rev. Jeremy Wind as celebrant and Clem's first cousins Rev. Merle Kollasch and Rev. Paul Eisele concelebrating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today, with a vigil service held at 6:30 p.m., at Oakcrest Funeral Services in Whittemore. Clem was married for 50 years to Elizabeth Beryl (Elsbecker).

He is survived by Jim and Amy Bisenius of Sioux City, Bob and Darcy Bisenius of Johnston, Iowa, Sue and Lyle Boeckholt of Titonka, Iowa, Lisa and Bob Kropp of New York, N.Y., Phil and Mary Bisenius of Johnston, Melanie and Todd Jarrett of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., Tom Bisenius of Crystal Lake, Ill., Sarah and Rob McCormick of Avon-by-the-Sea, N.J.; 16 grandchildren, Joe, Mary, and Mike (Meredith) Bisenius, Chelsea and Collin Bisenius, Katie (Joe) Moorberg and Alec Boeckholt, Travis and Bryce Bisenius, Tyler, Olivia, and Jackson Jarrett, Dylan and Lydia Bisenius, and Connor and Elle McCormick; and sisters, Maxine Connor and Joan and Bill Woksa.

He war preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth in 2003.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Sunrise Retirement and Hallmark/Accura Healthcare in Sioux City as well as Hospice of Siouxland for their care of Clem.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland or Bishop Garrigan Schools in Algona, Iowa.
