Mrs. Christina Jones, a resident of Woodbury County for 59 years, died Thursday at the home of a daughter at 612 Clark Street.

She was born at Tampa, Iowa April 9, 1871, coming to Woodbury County at the age of 12. She made her home in and near Smithland until three months ago when she came to Sioux City.

She was a member of the Latter Day Saints Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Pansie Jones, Mrs. Mary Talmadge and Mrs. Eva Moore, all of Sioux City; three sons, Ivan and Ferris Jones of Sioux City and Gerald Jones of Smithland; two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Rohda of Marshfield, Oregon and Mrs. Maggie Wiesse of Oakland, California; five brothers, Fred Jahn, Sioux City; Henry and G.A. Jahn of Moville; George Jahn of Seattle, Washington and William John of Los Angeles, California and 11 grandchildren.

The body is at Nelson-Berger Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
