Mrs. Augusta Myrick, 63, 1508 Nebraska Street, died in her home Wednesday night following a brief illness.

Mrs. Myrick was born in Germany, coming to this country at the age of 4. She lived most of her life at Woonsocket, South Dakota and Sheldon, Iowa, coming to Sioux City 11 years ago. Her husband, Frank preceded her in death 21 years ago.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. H. J. Hollister, Mrs. Helen Johnson and Miss Ame Myrick, all of Sioux City, Mrs. Richard Miller of Oakland, California and Mrs. Victor Chartier of South Sioux City; one son, Sergeant Henry F. Myrick of Camp Polk, Louisiana; three sisters, Mrs. T.O. Thompson of Lake Andes, South Dakota, Mrs. Joseph Dagher of Geddes, South Dakota and Mrs. Thorval Johnson of Irene, South Dakota and two grandchildren.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church. The body was taken to the Manning Funeral Home.
