Fred Minor, 4401 Springfield Street, died early this morning at his home.

He was born at Webster City, Iowa, December 15, 1869 and moved to Woodbury County with his parents in 1880. He farmed in Woodbury and Plymouth counties until 1923, when he retired and moved to Sioux City. He married Nellie Townsend at Potosia, Iowa in 1893.

Surviving are the widow; two sons, Guy Minor of Westfield, Iowa and Fred Minor of Sioux City; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Richardson of Sioux City, Mrs. Lizzie Smith of Miller, South Dakota and Mrs. R.J. Cochran of Yankton, South Dakota and one brother, William Minor of Rockwell City, Iowa.

The body was taken to the West-Heaton Funeral Home.
