SALIX, Iowa -- Raymond Lamoureux, 63, of Bullhead City, Ariz., formerly of Salix, received his "Angel Wings" Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, in Bullhead City.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at Dimond and Sons Silver Bell Chapel in Bullhead City.

Ray was born Nov. 13, 1940, in Salix, the son of Milford and Leona (LaCroix) Lamoureux. He left the Salix area in 1966 and moved to Santa Barbara, Calif., where he raised his family. While living in California, he was employed by Arrowhead Water Inc. In 1989, he moved to Bullhead City, where he worked as a sales manager at Bullhead Homes.

He met Paula Davis in July 1982 and they were married Jan. 6, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nev.

His love in life included his family, friends, the Raider's, golf, barbecuing and a good cold beer.

He is survived by his wife, Paula; his children, Cherie Erickson, Pamela (Wayne) Shermar, Rick (Eileen) Lamoureux, Cindy (Scott) Anderson, Anita (Jim) Snowling, Tammy (Bill) Eighmy and Scott (Sue) Davis; eight grandchildren, Raymond, Richard and William Eighmy, James and Tommy Snowling, Jessa Lamoureux, Robert Davis and Jenna Oldenburg; his brothers, Lowell Lamoureux, Ed (Dorothy) Lamoureux and Mike (Sue) Lamoureux; his sisters, Darlene "Bun" (Sam) McLarty and Marilee Thelan; and several nieces and nephews.

He will be reunited in heaven with his parents; a daughter, Connie; a brother, Robert; and a sister, Marilyn.
