9 November 2004Thersa S. Duncan, 42, of Sioux City died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, in Iowa City, Iowa following a brief illness.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Don Wood officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.
Thersa was born Sept. 6, 1962, in Sioux City, the daughter of Harold and Beverly (Schager) Duncan. She attended school in Sioux City.
She loved being active with her children and grandchildren and was accompanied by her favorite dog, Gizmo.
She is survived by three sons, Dustin Duncan and his fiancee, Michelle, James Hall and John Duncan, all of Sioux City; a daughter, Sarah Duncan and her fiance, Danny Reynosa of Sioux City; a brother, Raymond Duncan of Texas; a sister, Norma Jean of Sioux City; six grandchildren, Evonne and Christian Reynosa, J.J. Wooldrige, Joshua Duncan and Chuckie and Lindsey Albert; and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnie Duncan.
